He should have come in at a more comfortable weight ie 210-215 lbs which he can carry. He can't carry anything at 230-238 lbs in the middle to eight rounds. They should have learned from the second fight
he can come in at any weight. Fury is just the better fighter, weight can't make up the skill difference.
It will atleast allow him to keep his power and stamina late in the fight. Fury only got bolder when he realized Wilder was spent and had nothing left in his right hand anymore
I blame that on Wilder. He most likely came in that heavy against the wishes of his team, since even in the second fight Breland was against Widler coming over 220 lbs.
He walks around close to 200. Gaining 38 pounds of muscle was the stupidest thing he could have done. At least if he was nice and lean he would have had a much better tank which would have allowed him to at least remain competitive beyond round 4. Could have been the difference between winning and losing The ****ed up thing is, he had this problem in the last fight. All this fight showed is Wilder is incapable of learning. Yeah he went to Fury's body a bit more, but he should have learned that from the first fight. Aside from that and aside from a couple of lucky knockdowns because Fury got cocky, Wilder showed absolutely no ability to learn whatsoever
