    One of my favorite divisions.

Don't forget Bell (wherever he may be), Mormeck, Wlodarcyzk, Tokarev, Yoan Pable Hernandez, and heck, even Jirov is back in the division.

That was before the Mormeck fight, but I believe he was never charged.

I recently read a tidbit on one of the boxing sites about him wanting to move to heavyweight, but who knows. Not a wise move, in my opinion. I don't think he has the power to compete against heavies.

Obviously he needs to me more active at whatever division.

Yeh its a fantastic division. Huys like Ali and Fraizer weighed about 210lbs in there prime and H/W now are 240lbs thats why heavy is so ****.

Fact is David Haye will make more money fighting a nobody at Heavy then Fighting for the unified title at Cruier. Sad but true.

Matt Godfrey vs Rudolf Kraj in a final eliminator for shot at Haye's title.
Firat Arslan:there is talk that he will either defend his title against Herbi Hide or rematch Grigory Drozd
Steve Cunningham will square off against Marco Huck tomorrow.
Yoan Hernandez will face New Zealand based Arab Azzoui who lost his last fight to Maccarinelli(according to some rumour the young Cuban beat up former world champ Wlodarcyk quite badly during a sparring session)
Tomasz Adamek fights on the undercard of Huck vs Cunningham. He will probably be Huck's next opponent.
Alexander Alexeev is ready to take on fighters from the upper echelon of his weight division, and so is German based Alexander Frenkel.
Ding Wilson will probably fight either Flores or Purlette!

What a great weight division it is at present! A true shame that someone like Haye will probably earn more bucks fighting a heavy weight no-hoper than a good cruiser weight name!

The world needs to see these great fights and potential match-ups as the cruiser division is really deep. I really wish it was bigger in the U.S., that fact is, hardly anyone in the U.S. knows Steve Cunningham as he hasn't had any exposure over here. I'm definitley going to do my part to bring more excitement to the division on this side.:bbb

You're right. There are many excellent up and comers that will be making some noise very soon. The division is really incredibly deep and great match-ups abound. :smoke:smoke

Good luck for your upcomming fight against either Flores or Purlette!
Since a lot of the good fighters at cruiser weight are based in Germany there will be a good chance that I will be able to watch one of your future fights live somewhere in Germany.
Arslan is a champ,Huck has all the tools and skills to dethrone Cunningham, and Kraj has a decent chance to beat Godfrey.3 out of the 4 champs would be based in Germany.Furthermore Hernandez,Frenkel,Alexeev, and Drozd are also German based fighters. You are a top contender.Chances are good that you will cross the pond to showcase your skills here.
Huck has the potential to be a big star in Germany.Kraj's German language skills are not really that impressive.Besides he doesnt really have a flamboyant personality. He wont be a big draw in Germany.Arslan has his fans, and decent media support, but he doesnt have the skills to be a megastar.Huck may become a huge star. You should aim at him. After he has beaten Adamek and Cunningham he for sure will be a big name in Germany.Whoever fights him can surely expect a relatively good fight purse!
