Miguel Cotto, SSM, Oscar Dela Hoya all moved up from lighter weights lost thier first fights in that division

because they went after the young prime champions that were there.

This is what happends when you fight real fights..not fights that are built up to make money off the public. I know boxing is a busines but stop mentioning Floyds undefeated record. He;s undeafted because once he entered 140-147 he carefully chose his opposition.

Miguel Cotto has a loss now because he didnt avoid anyone..thats what boxing and sports is all about. I dont have a problem with Floyd going after ONLY big money fights..but at the same time dissing other fighter that he wont even fight...thats not right.

As a boxing fan,, I got more respect for the Cottos and the MArgaritos. They give fans what they deserve.. Im not just talkng about bloody , brawling fights..but I mean as far as fighting the best in the division.

Floyd Mayweathr's 0 on his record means nothing. Using it to win an argument means nothing...he traded making himself "greater" for making himself "richer"..period.

I gotta go poo poo now

I don't understand? First fight moving up to WW. Mosley and Cotto, and Oscar did not lose their first fight moving up. I got it now, but you all all over the place with that first paragraph.

100% correct!!! Great thread and brutally honest...though I'm sure some nuthuggers are gonna rip you for it but don't pay them any mind.:good
...and YoDaddy ment that Oscar and cotto both lost for the 1st time when they were welterweights...he didn't mean they lost there very 1st fight at 147lbs.
