    Joe did hurt him several times and dropped him late. 350 punches and god knows how many headbutts. Knocked down late and never in the fight to begin with. Jeff Lacy said he trained to be a confident fighter. He never was again. Joe put about 5 years on Lacy in one fight.

    yeh excetly that many punches and no ko.

    maybe jefff lost his confidence for a bit but he was still same ability, whenever he stepped up he got wiped out. He hadnt a clue how to punch a southpaw.

    Its always good in my book when a UK fighter beats a weak US world titlist, we get a few happen every couple of years.

    I personally don't understand why people talk down Joe's win over Hopkins. Hopkins was just coming off two solid wins vs Wright and Tarver, then the fight after had one of his career best wins beating the undefeated middleweight champ Pavlik! He then boxed for another 8 years picking up solid wins and 3 more world titles!
