He doesn't need to see many to realise that his style would cause nightmares for Margarito's.

He is totally serious about these thoughts too lol. He isw basically lying to you guys too. Goosen denied making AM wait and wanted the rematch. Arum didn't even want AM to fight Williams...You expect us to believe that the winner of the fight(Williams) didn't want to give the loser(AM) a rematch. Let me guess: AM was coming back and Williams felt the heat and said "no" to the rematch? lol......Was there a rematch clause? lol

:huh He was Gatti's Mandatory, and yet fought Bruselles? IS that what you just said?

Either way, he was still the #1 to Harris at the time. Harris vs. Mayweather Should be preferred over fights with Bruselles and Gatti.

I don't really think he has options which is why he's making the move to Middleweight before coming down to stay active. He was rumored to be fighting Collazo, no one liked it so he moved up to stay active IMO.

Cintron and Clottey are already in talks for either Margarito or Cotto, that's as far as I know and I'm dead sure they'll stick for that rather than fight Williams. Quintana isn't an option at this point, especially after what happened in the rematch. If the rematch went the full 12 UD for Williams then sure I'll count him as a possible option, but a KO1?, no.

If he was close to being stopped then why in the 12 the round did Williams come on strong showed the heart of a champion and outwork Margo to a UD win.
BTW Margo will only get worse due to his age and his style. Williams on the other hand will continue to improve he's younger. His southpaw stance the fact that Margo can't outwork him nor can he impose his strenght and size against him gives Margo fits. Williams has excellent stamina as well and won't be worn down by Margo's attack. Williams can fight at range against margo not allowing him to set up on the inside and if he gets to close Williams can tie him up push off and use his superior footwork to get back at range he did this time and time again in the first fight. In other words Williams is a stylistic nightmare for Margo and that's the reason why you won't see a rematch anytime soon.

The fight with Corley was a WBC title eliminator. Gatti got the WBC to postpone his fight with Floyd so Floyd fough another eliminator against Bruseles. You could say a fight with Harris was prefered. However, the fight that the public wanted to see was Gatti vs. Mayweather. That's the plan that Arum had. This is similarto the way Arum has Margo lined up to fight Cotto again instead of a rematch with Williams, which should be the prefered fight.

Sorry, but this was never going to happen. Floyd came to 140 for a fight with Gatti and then Cotto. Bruseles was the fight Floyd picked because he said he wanted to give Bruseles a chance, and that it was a chance to show Cotto what he was up against. Floyd's words...

The fight with Bruseless was to secure the #1 spot for Gatti's title, if you know anything about Mayweather you would realise that the WBC title is the title he always targets and luckily for him Gatti had it at 140 and the 2nd biggest fight to make in that division at the time, right below Hatton(who came off a win over Tszyu only a few weeks before the Gatti/Mayweather fight).

So you think Floyd should've fought Harris right after he fought Gatti?
