It was before he fought Bruselles. THAT is when he was Harris' #1. What would YOU, as a fan, have preferred too place?

Exactly. Harris was being groomed to fight Kostya I think. This is going back lol. The talk was Floyd-Cotto, and Cotto's people after the Bruseles fight said Cotto is not ready at 140. Cotto's uncle and Arum said this which was smart. Cotto was starting to have trouble making 140, and a fight with Floyd was not the right thing to do at that time.

I had never even seen Harris fight until his fight with Maussa. Had Harris won that fight, he and Floyd would've probably fought eachother next. Who would you rather Margo fight, Williams or Cotto again?

What belt he prefers doesn't mean **** in the boxing world. Only means something to him. All the belts are tained in one way or another. Besides, that's just convenient for him isn't. it. the tougher challenger had a belt he didn't want. Kinda like retiring when the division is at its best in years and claiming disinterest? All too convenient, even if any truth to them.

Who cares, Harris lost. Everyone wanted Cotto-Floyd. Cotto wasn't ready...you can google this. You can't change history. What you say sounds logical, but it isn't the truth...

He blitzed Hurtado in 1 or 2 rounds to get some recognition from the networks.

But no, he was the #1 contender for harris' belt before he fought Bruselles. If he wanted the fight, it was there. He could have unified w/ Gatti right after. Would be his FIRST unification too.

First I need to calm down, now I am pissed. Sure, whatever you say. Just like the idiot republicans, you don't tackle the issues, you just look for a distration and give non-answers.

Lance, Floyd had a promoter at the time. The Gatti fight was the plan. Harris was a relative unknown. The Gatti fight was the big out there for him. Harris would've gotten his shot had he just simply beat Maussa. This is a ridiculous argument. You're criticising the man for not fighting Harris exactly when you wanted him to. Harris got his ass stratched, he clearly wasn't as good as advertised. You have no problem with Margo and his 8 month plan but you're all over Floyd for fighting Gatti instead of Harris.

By tougher fighter you're saying Harris was a tougher challenger?, if you're serious there then I honestly have no comment to that apart from laughter.

I never said that he didn't care for the rest of the belts all I said is that he shows obvious interest in the WBC title above the rest, of course it doesn't mean anything in boxing as a whole but does mean something to HIM since this discussion is related to HIM. A fight with Harris was also considered, which is why Harris was put on the undercard of the Gatti fight. At the time the biggest fight to make was Gatti since Hatton was already booked to fight Tszyu the same month he was booked to fight Gatti. His fight with Bruseless was to secure the #1 position in the WBC rankings, pretty much like the fight before it against Corley.

You are giving us false information about Floyd and Harris. That fight was not on either fighters radar yet you keep feeding us this garbage lol. Why? Is Harris another fighter Floyd ducked, oh wait, he lost lol. Steward walked into the ring with Harris hoping kostya took the fight, and you are telling us that Floyd could've taken the Harris fight? Stop lying to us lol...You're so pissed you'll post anything lol...

What was false? Am I lying when I say Mayweather was his #1 contender @ 140 BEFORE he fought Gatti or Brusselles?

One thing I take pride in on this board is NOT lying or making **** up. Not gonna do it, never had.

We already cannot say the same for you.
