I still think PBF deprived us FANS of a good fight by NOT taking the $8 mill to fight Margarito, him fighting Oscar and Hatton were **** ass choices. Well maybe fighting Hatton was good but Oscar c'mon now.....

Since you are an uninformed Margarito hater, I thought I would provide you with this. I know this is going to hurt, but here it is:

    **** ass choices?
For us fans it may have been, but noone can call him stupid, he made a bit over 50mil in those two fights (or so I heard).. pretty much more than Cotto made in his entire career.

Floyd is still a great fighter and I would love to see him fight Margarito/Cotto or even Williams, but noone should blame him personally for the Oscar and Hatton fights.

Since we are quoting Arum.. ( I actually have a quote from Arum)...

And it's not only Mayweather who is steering clear of Margarito, Arum noted.
"Let me give you an example," he continued. "Shane Mosley got hold of somebody who called me. Shane said, through this third party, that he wanted to fight Miguel Cotto, [contingent upon] Cotto beating Carlos Quintana [for the vacant WBA welterweight title]. I told this person that Cotto, if he wins, has an obligation to fight [Oktay] Urkal. So why not have Shane fight Margarito, if he beats Clottey? The money would be the same.
"But the word came back to me that Shane doesn't want to fight Margarito. So there's got to make something there. We're not making this [expletive] up. "Let's put all the baloney aside. Mayweather was offered $8 million to fight Antonio. He turned it down. When he fought [Carlos] Baldomir, he didn't make anything like $8 million. I don't care what they're saying, nobody guaranteed him anything close to that.

I'm quite aware of this situation however it still doesn't excuse Margo for turning down a career high payday and not avenging his loss to Williams right now does it?:deal Next time come with something of substance.

What does this have to do with the price of tea in China? The fact is PBF agreed to fight Margo for 8mil but Arum low balled him on options of only 7 mil. PBF knew that was horse**** offer and he could get far more and he did and bought himself out. He also knew Arum would never push for a fight with Oscar either. Arum is a POS snake and ruined the oppurtunity of us fans of not seeing PBF fight Margo and Cotto by not paying fighters what they're worth. Don't blame PBF because he was business savvy enough to know his worth and not fall for the okey doke, he's made over 50 mil since leaving Arum. How can you knock that?

, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million
