He's really got to play catch up now. Helenius, Pulev, Dimentrenko, and Fury have all surpassed him. Price and Ortiz are next, and Glazkov is just around the corner.

Rodriguez has been calling out unbeaten prospects and top contenders for several yrs. Boystovs name was in there b4 he went missing.
Rodriguez can only fight who accept his challenges, same as the K2.

Boytsov's fight can be seen on www.bild.de at 1:30 pm ET. They're only showing the undercard. The Dimitrenko vs Sprott main event is exclusive to German TV channel Sport1.

Why are so many on Boystov's back? The guy has had a hand injury but in 27 fights he's already beat Bydenko a top 15 fighter and stopped Ondrej Pala who is the WBO European champion.

Eddie Chambers had 27 pro fights before he fought his first name guy in Derric Rossy.
Same with Thompson's 26 fights, Arreola's 24 fights, Dimitrenko's 25 fights. Even Vitali Klitschko had about 25 pro fights before he made a big move.....

Boytsov is only 25 and can fight for the next 10-15 years.....if his hands hold up? No rush yet step it up and fight for the championship in 2-3 years ...

Give him a chance. He is still young.

This, and add to that hes young age of 25. 10-15 years left for him as a heavyweight if he´s health holds up.

He also fought and beat sold fighters like Robert Hawkins. Jason Gavern (First one to stop him) and Vinny Maddalone.

At only 28-0, this Boytsov kid has real balls taking on a monster like the (#316 ranked) 14-6 Matthew "Gator" Greer. :yep

Once again, try to remember that Boytsov can't pick his own opponents. This is all the fault of Universum.

Give the guy some respect, he's a monster fighter with great skills, and is probably a lot more frustrated right now than we are.

If you think (as I do) that Boytsov's the real deal, and you want him to fight quality opponents, then do your part: Flood the internet forums with threads about him. Go to his YouTube videos & leave positive comments. maybe even send an email to Universum & or GBP.

The powers-that-be need to be woken up, not Boytsov himself. If they see dollar signs, they'll set the fights.

Can he not leave Universum? Or do they own the contract on his life?

    ^ Good question.

I think they're sort of run by the Russian mob or something.
