Dude, Zimbabwe was actually one of the safest places in the world in the 90's, I had relatives there. As for 'street fights', Harare is the only significant conurbation there and its pretty small and cosy. Again, Zimbabwe was pretty rich in the 90's.

Nor is it in West Africa.

Nor do I think you would find a single instance of the 'tyre' execution in Zimbabwe, ever. They dont have gangs there, the significant crime they do have is either petty theft/mobs attacking white farms in the early 2000's, not to mention, only recent.
