Oscars a business man, and Mayweather a wanna-be Oscar. It was obvious, even Mayweather said thats why he never got close to Oscar cause he wanted to be him. Well its gonna be harder to be Oscar cause he know what to do with his money, while Mayweather is buying bling, being flashy, and betting his money away, Oscar is consolidating boxing. While i hate biased professional writing and respect (for a good part) The Ring magazine, i hope GBP just improves certain things but GBP better not interfere with the creative process and with its writers and rankings, cause even a Oscar supporter like me will hate him, for that... Anyway, back to Mayweather, hes all talk cause now hes owned by Oscar. So whose whose ***** now?:hi:
Who gives a ****? This article is a classic example of a true Oscarsexual at his finest. Your boy Oscar was schooled in the ring by PBF so you create a thread about Oscar being a better businessman because he couldn't get the better of him?? :-( In case you didn't notice people here care about who beat who in the ring not who owns the ring.:deal Your boy was schooled when the two met in May and all that **** you talked before the fight blew up in your ****ing face. One thing you can count on is that PBF is the better boxer and will have a better ATG ranking than your hero Oscar that's for damn sure. So deal with it Oscarsexual.:hi:
Definately not schooled if you can read, then you can obviously see the title of my thread, "The diference Btw DLH & Mayweather" and i clearly stated what that was. You just mad Oscar owns yo' boy!:good
You mean why does Oscar want to be like PBF? He did hire his father to teach him how to fight like PBF didn't he?
Actually, he said he never got close to Oscar because he wanted to fight him. If he wanted to be him why wouldn't stay close to him so that he could learn from him? Oscar, on the other hand, wanted to fight like Mayweahter. This is why he hired Floyd Sr. as his trainer. Furthermore, both Floyd and Oscar have more money than any of us will probably ever see, I doubt Floyd will **** his money away. And why are you so concerned with their financial situations anyway?
I guess on the bright side Oscar buying The Ring means the financial future for the mag is very very secure. Am I kidding myself or does there seem to be a slow resurgance of mainstream attention to boxing? If there is ODLH is only going to help that along and make guys like Floyd more money in the process.
I guess that's a optimistic way to look at it. What I wonder is, when Oscar finally retires, what happens to the mainstream attention. He's the only true mainstream boxing guy in America, unless you count ancient Holyfield.
Well do you believe Oscar when he says he want to be in some classic wars before he retires? 1 million plus households pays to see Oscar vs any of the young stars in the ww division and a great fight occurs the opponent should be elevate as well. By the way I think PBF is really close to being a mainstream sports figure. The only reason ANYONE knows him outside of boxing fans is because of the fight with Oscar.
Its obvious DLH is jealous of FMJ's #1 status and FMJ is jealous of DLH's business/money status. . . . Funny thing is, neither one has what it takes to take the others spot . . . . DLH isnt even a full time boxer anyomer and FMJ doesnt have the courage to fight in a manner that will make him half the start DLH was in his prime. . . he simply refuses to take risks and thats what fans want to see.
DING DING DING, we have a winner. Never in my opening paragraph do i say anything about the two fighting in the ring, i just pointed out a diference in them that Gayrunner lovers were saying about their fight, like that it was Mayweather was the one that sold the fight, and made the headlines, and was the interesting character, therefore hes the one that did all the work. My argument is that DLH was always the brains behind the operations. And proved that even more today. I mean call an Oscarsexual if it makes you feel better, but facts are facts.
