Whenever i see this type of Question, for some reason i seem to think of those pampered pooches at Crufts allowing judges to pull and poke them about whilst they remain regale of posture....then i think of those other Dogs..those Hungry mean-eyed snarling Dogs you see in Scrapyards...eyeballing you and just willing you to come get acquainted ...! I guess once that cheque-book has come out and you have been signed...it's no longer a Hobby...your a commodity and the String-Pullers look forward to returns on their Investment....and many rivals want to knock you off..and take your place on that pedestal.

Always wondered that also, but recently they have changed the scoring to 10 point must system and No head guards ( Elite level only.)
Interestingly the Pros up to the Early 7os never Boxed Amateur with Head-guards. With a 10pt must system .
