What's the difference between a Reyes and an Everlast and a Grant and whatever and what difference does it make to a fighter, the fight and the sway of a fight.

MODS: if you feel this is more Training or Lounge then move, by all means.

    The way they are made

Reyes for example have a smaller fist for a smaller more effective damage area. The downside is the padding isnt as well spread out so you feel it in your hands more.

Grants have more padding at the top of the glove so even though they weigh the same they offer more protection to your fist. The padding helps absorb some of the shock so the force of the punch dosnt travel through your hand as much as a Reyes. The downside is a slightly softer punch.

The difference between gloves is basically how they distribute the bulk of the glove around your fist.

Gloves for training are going to be much bigger because you dont need to hurt your sparing partner/trainer, but you need to make sure your hands stay protected, as they are very easy to break.
