Actually, he did once. He claimed that his mum met Ali and said that he had BIG HANDS and unfortunately, yes, we were forced to agree with him! ;)

I think he said mama couldnt take her eyes off Ali's big hands.

    Then it just kept spreading.

Dren Joshua when he can hit you, he is a good combination puncher.

When you make him miss he can't land the right hand. He throws a good right and left uppercut, and his straight right with little power that keeps you at arms distance is good also. But he doesn't throw a good straight right hand. I like that Joshua will bull his way in and get inside, but he will throw his right hand wide and they are arm punches.

Takam for the most part made Joshua miss more than normal. Takam took Joshua's left hook out of the fight. That's why it was a longer and harder fight for Joshua. He clearly won but he showed flaws in technique and defense. Nothing major. But is it a habit or is it correctable.

This fight he probably knew Takam couldn't hurt him so I don't have harsh criticism, but his attacks were thwarted. His fundamentals can always get better. But Wilder is tall long and fast. Different animal.

No doubt Wilder has a decent chance. A shot Wlad should have taken Joshua out and 1/14 Takam was going the distance until the Brit stoppage. I don't see a massive amount for Wilder to worry about, although he is packing more glass admittedly, but if he can create some angles and make Joshua miss he can put him in big trouble.

Fair point AJ has plenty of flaws but his heart I'd say is what has pulled him through up to now.
Wilder has crazy reach, better athlete and gas tank but also has real technical issues and as he's never fought anyone of note yet it's hard to say what Wilder is up to except to say he's a hell of a puncher.

Cor, yet another thread deleted about Joshuas racist remarks. I hope this will be a streisand effect type thing where their continous efforts to shut this down will make it bigger than it ever would have been. If he'd just apologised, and said it was silly and a joke, people would probably have forgotton all about it in a week, however now I for one am not going to let any boxing fan forget about it.

He called Eddie Chambers a disgrace to the superior black race, and there has been a worldwide media blackout on it (except for RT), and that includes this site which takes down any thread about it within the hour.

Price is telling it like it is.. Wilder is too risky for Joshua and Hearn knows it.

Neither guy is bad technically. They both fight tall but at times they both fight small. They aren't inside fighters but will go inside if they only have to. Wilder has gotten better defensively.

Both guys take a decent shot regardless of what anyone thinks. One was wobbled, hit clean on numerous occasions and recovered quickly and the other was wobbled, put down and got back up. That's why we need to see this fight because someone will have to raise their game tenfold in order to win.

I'm disappointed in Chambers being such a disgrace.

If AJ says so, it must be true!

I agree that this fight needs to happen.

They need to come to an agreement on the $$$. Would be hilarious if either got KO'd by some bum and their big payday went out the window. A major HW fight is what boxing needs right now.
