nah.....Baldo wasn't going to get KO'd. His Chin was just too strong. If Floyd was a bigger fighter or one that committed to body shots more then MAYBE! But Floyd wouldnt have KO'd Blado.

I love Shane, but if some of you thought Cotto outboxed Shane, what do you think Floyd will do? Shane is a dangerous fight for Floyd, but Floyd has the perfect style to beat Shane. Shane is tailor made for Floyd style wise, but any man who can throw punches with both hands is a danger. Floyd is too fast for Shane.

 

Shane took fights with guys to get back to the top. Floyd is at the top. Now Shane is back. Who they last fought does not matter because who Mosley fought won't help him deal with a fighter like Floyd.

 

Each skins a cat in different ways- i admire shanes method- he has more to bravado no doubt- and comes to kill. however i cant begrudge mayweather for not being a killer. you either are or you arent. being one is borne of having a great chin, strong fists, an attitude to kill or be killed. Floyd is more athlete than fighter. He is what he is though- and he makes the most of who he is and what he is. To count against him for it would be like saying Magic Johnson was a ***** for not going to the rack more often and dunking- Im sure he wouldve loved to- but he wasnt born with the physique nor the hops- to play so. Michael Jordan was. Each man makes the most.

The same here- Floyd may not be everybodys cup of tea- but he did what he needed to do- to do what he wanted to do-which is win every single time he came into the squared circle- as much as we want to nitpick and crtiticise- what both men do time and time again is something of amazing bravery, discipline, courage and talent. we should be so blessed to have half of these attributes. Lets please champion what these guys are and what they have instead of continually breaking down who they arent. the amount of hate that goes on here is amazing. if i was floyd- and heard all this - all the time- id get sick of it too- and retire. It comes with the territory? sure- but it sure as heck aint as easy as it looks also.
