Here are some amazing accomplishments by ATG, just to name a few:

    1. Hearns moves up from 147 to 175 in order to beat the best lightheavyweight in Virgil Hill.Amazing battle. Weight gap: 30 pounds

    2. Toney moves up from 160 to 190 to fight the best cruiserweight Jirov. Amazing fight.Weight gap: 30 pounds.  Toney moved up further after that to fight elite heavyweights. weight gap: 50-60 pounds

    3. Duran moved up from 135 to 160 to beat the big, hard punching middleweight Barkely who just beat Hearns. Amazing battle. Weight gap:25 pounds

    4. Roy Jones moves up from 160 to 200 to beat Ruiz. Weight gap: 40 pounds.

    5. Archie Moore moves up from light heavyweight to fight at heavyweight.
    .......

Conclusion: Mayweather does not want to face the elite welteweights. Well, fk it, his legacy has to be questioned to a certain degree. He remains a low TOP 100 ATG but not more.We are not asking him to move up to 160 to face Pavlik at 160 for christ sake.

I don't really like Mayweather but he did go up to 154 to fight DLH thou, I do see where ur coming from thou. He always seems to take on people moving up to his weight doesn't pick on the naturally bigger guys

No translation: he is the vice president of the Hate Floyd club, and he will find an excuse for anything he does, no matter how stupid or not thought out it is.

    FK off.

From 130-147 are 17 pounds weight gap.
But Mayweather doesn't want to face the best welterweights. That is the point here.

DH started out at 130 pounds though I give him some credit for that. The guys I refererred too faced natural big guys:

    1. Virgil, the best and a natural lightheavyweight. In his Prime
    2. Barkley natural middleweight. In his Prime
    3. Jirov the best and natural cruiserweight. In his Prime
    4. Ruiz heavyweight champ and natural heavyweight. In his Prime

Do you see now where I am coming from?

So by your logic De La Hoya and mayweather are the same size so whats the weight gap between Marquez and Mayweather 4 pounds? At Least be consistant with your criticism. Now im not a nuthugger and he was bigger than marquez but to say Mayweather and De la Hoya are the same size is just plain stupid.

It's kinda silly to criticize Floyd for not fighting the 'supposed' best boxer at welterweight when he moved up another division and beat the best boxer at 154 at the time.

A shadow of his former self, a prime DLH would be a different story.
