I wonder how accurate this is though. He started boxing at 14 and turned pro by age 16. That's a whole lot of fights for a 2 year time span.

actually i do believe Pac was still 15 when he turned pro. Not a big difference but 15 is very ****in young.

strange considering the Marquez fight. I always though it was one of two cases.

    1. He couldn't make 144 lbs, meaning he probably weighs more than 150 on fight night
    2. he really did pull a ***** move against an already smaller fighter by not even draining a mere 3 lbs to meet the original contracted weight.

Floyd was fresh out of retirement for Marquez. Floyd is crazy, but I don't think he would just throw 600K down the drain like that.

Yeah, I think so too... but under what conditions? From what I know, he transferred to manila at age 14 because of how shitty boxing in the province was.

In the end though, it's off tangent to the point I was making which was that Pac didn't have any exposure at all in the US before the Ledwaba fights. Even here in the Philippines, the only time Pac gained any exposure at all was after he turned pro, the the local fights broadcasted in TV.

Your the one who is using this thread to cry and moan, it would appear, otherwise you wouldn't have resorted to name-calling, indicating that this topic has made you upset or emotional.

Marquez shouldn't have asked for the catchweight. You wanted a crack at the #1p4p, and cash king then you fight in his weight class which is 147.

And its not like May walked through him and bullied him. Mayweather was quicker, and outskilled, and outboxed Marquez easily.
