fair enough , i'll go on looking at the sport as a casual fan hoping to learn and share experiences with like-minded fans. you go on jabbering about calzaghes resume until the stable doors shut, he's retired and no-one gives a **** anyway , and beyond probably

PACFAN's points aren't superficial or anything close...

When Hatton was 26 he fought the p4p #3, and by 29 he'd fought the p4p #1 outside his own division.
Calzaghe didn't fight a p4p fighter until he was 36, dispite the best fighter in the world being one division above him for 7 seven years.

They're just the facts, and it shows the different between the two fighters.

I know TFFP and Beatboxer's love for Calzaghe way too big for them to judge his career fairly. There isn't a lot of point talking to them about about anything involving Joe.

JonOli is an excellent poster. Far far superior to the dull posting and biased failed attempts at intelligence from you - pound-for-pound the most insecure poster on this site.

I'll go on being the poster I am thanks, I have made many friends on this site, and whereas you stonerose do not, many others do rate my posting highly, so yes let's continue as we are.

So, so true. The way they desperately twist and turn trying to deny plain facts is bizarre.

You've just repeated what I said.

Collazo is not a better fighter than Tszyu, he is perhaps stronger. However, it is more a reflection on Hatton's lack of skill that he can not successfully move up in weight and beat a fringe top 10 fighter.

Most top fighters can do it. Shane Mosley is a former lightweight, he beat the **** out of Collazo easily. This is the difference between a skilled operator and a crude brawler that relies on being stronger than an opponent.

shane mosleys body is more suited to the jump up. three inches taller than hatton for a start. you must admit that the size difference between hatton and collazo was ridiculous ?

The size difference would be "ridiculous" to you every time because he'd look like crap and you need a convenient excuse.

Hatton put on 7lbs. Fighters throughout history laugh at 7lbs. A skilled fighter at one weight class should be able to move up and beat a top 10 type guy. Pacquiao did exactly the same against David Diaz.

Hatton's problem is he isn't skilled, so every single time he comes unstuck without his physical advantages.

You should be able to see how nearly all the top fighters today can move up a weight class in that case :good
