For the last time, WOODS WAS A MANDATORY. PACFAN, I know you've not followed the sport long and rely mainly on boxrec for your info, but at least do your research properly before using Woods as an example.

How many different angles do these idiots have to take!

If Woods could do it why not Calzaghe....

Would you give up a World Title to move up in weight, and work your way up the rankings bit by bit in the vain hope that Jones MAY agree to fight you?

Or would you attempt to make a fight with the Undisputed MW Champion of the World Bernard Hopkins, RJJ rival and best known fighter from 160 to 175 outwith Jones, to get his attention?

Hmmm. Unfortunatly Hopkins was too busy beating up the Daniels, Hakkars, Joppys and Allens of the world as he waited for Hoya to take that fight....which is the reason of course, that he blatantly ducked Calzaghe at that point, something he has never even denied.

The best of the lot was Jon Olis ridiculous suggestion that Clinton Woods was on the level of DM...in some bizarre attempt to justify Jones facing Woods and avoiding the DM fight....

No point asking him. Eubank was worthlees win for Calzaghe at that time as Calzaghe should of rightfully been looking for a fight with Jones or at the very least attempting to unify the heavyweight division. No consideration is given by him as regards to JC's previous level of comp going into the fight. Merely the fact that Eubank's best days were behind him is enough to justify Calzaghe being a cherrypicker in his eyes.
