not really Cotto landed his share of bombs on Margarito and I had them even on rounds going into the 11th. Cotto didn't get mashed against Margarito he just got overwhelmed in a fight that was he was doing very well in during the early rounds.

His success has more to do with his ability. Just admit it.

Talking about timely matchmaking when you picked his last two opponents to knock him the **** out is just a sorry ass excuse.

    Look...

I'm not getting into why Pac is successful. I'm not even trying to start a debate about whether he is clean or not. There are plenty of threads for those. Stay on topic. This thread is just a simple statement on the difference in an 18-Day Agreed Cutoff and an 18-Day Random Cutoff...

What? are you gonna start accusing me of being racist now, because I don't think Pac is the P4P #1 right now. You're acting a bit emotional today.:huh

He got overwhelmed and then he got mashed.

Williams took Margarito's best in the 11th and then came out in the 12th and showed what heart was all about.

This is all fine and dandy...I just wanna know one thing. Was there a set number of tests agreed upon to be administered?

If so...it kind of takes the randomness out of it. And should someone reply, please provide a source. Thank you.

if not for the stoppage you can say, cotto put on at leat 5 or 6 good rounds, actually outboxing margarito most of the way. and who knows, the williams fight might be the beggining why margo's trainer decided they needed a little "help". :D

I'm starting to believe pac fans are mentally handicapped. They will never understand the meaning of "random".

I really can't answer if there was a set number of tests.

Are you implying that perhaps Floyd ans Shane were administered their maximum amount of agreed on tests on the 18th day out, and then they knew they wouldn't be tested any more? If so, I think you are reaching greatly for some type of way to make the 18-Day Random Cutoff less random.

Help me understand where you're going with this.:huh

I knew that **** was coming!!! Willaims-Margo was in Cali, where they just started providing the wraps. They didn't do it at the time. Nevada, on the other hand, has always done it. You're in over your head Pacdude.

I do this Cotto-Williams-Margo thing for a living, son. Find a Pac thread somewhere.

    :patschoh wait!

I don't get whats so hard to understand.

18 day agreed cut off, leaves a window.

While what Mosley-Mayweather had done to them left no window.

Exactly. I've tried to explain this myself. It's so obvious and simple, yet some don't get it.

this is actually a pac-floyd ***** negotiations thread. sorry for being off-topic.

that is why i said we don't know. for both the cotto and williams fight, margo comes slow from the first half and came strong starting the 2nd half. the difference was, margo's punches affected cotto more than williams. you could sa cotto has a lesser punch resistance than williams but we could always hunch that margo has his thing in the cotto fight much more likely than in the williams fight.

I'm not reaching, really...I am genuinely curious. Personally, I think Pacquiao's fear of drawing blood is a little ridiculous.

If there was a set number of tests agreed upon, then yes, they KNEW they had a window to work with. If there was no set number of tests agreed upon, then the testing was totally random and there was no possible way they'd know if they'd be tested 1 day before the fight.

I just want to know if there was a set number of tests agreed upon.
