    You don't need to do that many tickets for a 4rdr. You need to pay ur opponent which is usually £1150 but may rise if someone has to travel from abroad or a long distance in this country. Heavyweights usually get a bit more as well. 150 is a bit high. You'd probably get by as long as you did 70+ which is still a lot. It's a hard game.
    Back in the day it was usually the promoters who sold the tickets and there wasn't as much pressure on the fighters but times change and without the fighters selling the tickets then the small halls would die out. Fights on cards used to be more comparative tho back then.
    The small halls have had to change a bit, to stay alive. Fighters selling tickets is a big part of that strategy now.

    I think the promoters need to take on more responsibility to put on a good competitive show and also keep up to speed with how it is set up.

    I’ve been to some dog **** bare bones shows with no lighting or music etc.

    I’ve also been to MMA shows for the same price with a brilliant setup.

    I’ve not been to them before though I hear goodwin has a good setup.

    I used to DJ in London quite a bit and it was a similar score with that, you had to be able to guarantee the promoters that you could sell X amount of tickets. I knew of people basically paying to play to get their name out there and get recognised.

    Small hall shows are great value for money.

    More should be done to promote them, not putting on get rich schemes for the few.

    Is rather have a small hall than a major event.

    Better view, can get served at the bar, usually less scum and you can get a taxi after.
