    Y'know, I had to check. He got his way with the rematch. All 3 heavily WBA affiliated. Rossman held the cards, why wasn't his people fighting for him on this? Possibly under WBA threat?

    Rematch officials were South African ref (who also judged) Stanley Christodoulou — his middle initials might as well be W-B-A; judge Jesus Celia of Venezuela; and judge Waldemar Schmidt (lest you think they brought in a German judge for a defense by a Jewish champ … Waldemar is from Puerto Rico).

    Deck stacked firmly for Victor (who, it turned out, did not need it … Rossman was a mess mentally battling his father/trainer/manager and broke his right hand early in the fight.

    Tony Ayala went after Robbie Epps after the fight was stopped and spat on Jose Luis Baltazar after knocking him down.
