One of the two most exciting match ups in boxing today is about to come true. Wlad and Haye - two genuin knock out artists are about to face off. It seems like Wlad is the one with most support here on ESB, and thats fine with me. I hope to see Wlad knock David "I want to quit boxing" Haye the **** out.

Never the less, the disrespect towards Haye among so called boxing fans here on ESB is nothing short of ******ed.

Haye is a very well accomplished boxer, who has picked up titles both as a CW and a HW. He has only lost once, against Thompson, where he went down swinging, not clinching or running. He has knocked out every other opponent he has ever faced, spare Valuev, who is a special case due to his freakishly size. And even Valuev was hurt more than ever before in his career. On top of that, Haye has agreed to go to Wlads backyard, in order to make the fight come true - thats the mentality fans usually are gratefull for.

In short, those disrespecting Haye is a bunch of spastics.

And no, I am NOT from the UK.

The general consensus I think is respect for Haye, for stepping in there with Wladimir, at last.

People lost patience with David Haye's antics a long time ago. Haye, at one point, had a lot of people on his side, saying stuff like, I hope you knock the robot out, American's and Brits were saying that kind of thing, but Haye has disillusioned them with antics.

If Haye wants respect, he should act like it. If he showed the Champ any kind of respect I'm sure he wouldn't get **** on so much. Reap what ya sow ya know. Now the Champ just has to beat his ass for being a big mouth. Pizza time.

Respect is earned, not handed out for nothing. To me, he's done little in his career to be worthy of that respect, so far. If he gets in the ring with Wlad and gives a decent performance he'll have earned it, win, lose or draw.

I'm not a Haye fan but, he's won titles in multiple weight classes, he's done enough for most to think his fight with Wlad is the biggest to be made in the HW division (outside of Wlad vs Vitali)...

The fact is, everyone is talking about him, whether to roast him or laud him...Whether they know it or not, they respect him enough to talk about him...

    The Harrison fight was unforgivable.

If Haye wants respect as the heavyweight champ of the world, he needs to change that glass jawed brit and that accent become an American citizen where the respected ATG Heavyweights are. (Ali, Tyson, Foreman, Frazier, Joe Louis etc..)

Maybe the Butterbean fights were a lower point, but Haye v Harrison is in the running for the lowest point in post-war boxing history. Haye deserves all the derision he gets on ESB and elsewhere.

I think the guy is extremely skilled and posesses great power and athleticism but he's a mental midget and talked a big game without doing **** for 3 years now. he had everyone on his side including me but his unwillingness to face legit competition or the klits until now has turned many a fan away.
