I think he signed up for Clottey (or ANY boxer TOPRANK would match up with him) because of the upcoming elections in the Philippines. A very small window was there, a fight in March vs. Mayweather, then a few weeks rest, then campaign season and elections in May 2010. but the FMJ talks fell through, but the March fight date still stood. There had to be a fight, or he would not have a fight until very late 2010, a long lay off. And I agree that he's not the best public speaker in English (not even the best public speaker in Tagalog) and he's not that great with interviews. Some people seem more "guilty" than others. I suck at stuff like proving my innocence. If I was accused of some small crime, and I was interrogated, I'm 100% sure I'll register as "guilty" by the body language experts and interrogators. If you suspect I'm guilty, I exude a very guilty aura, even if I didnt do it.
i dont give a f*ck if pacquiao holds 7 world paperbelt titles, 3 UFC titles, and 2 championship basketball rings in his resume. as long as he gives us a damn boxing war, i'll pay pac's fights anytime
