    Evidence please

People always say age matters least in Heavyweight/Power is the last to go.

In the smaller divisions what have been exceptions?

Can some least Old Lion vs Young Lion fights? Statistics or other evidence thanks

The smaller divisions. The guys age way worse. At heavyweight you can be in your prime at like 35.

as forza saisd throughout history lower weights especially the very light weights retire /get beat usually before there 30s

heavyies have the longest longevity but it is a fairly new thing

foreman was the instigator that i remember then holmes jumped on the bandwagon

    cant remember many before that

    not in the 40s/50s/60s/70s/

those that fought for titles were shadows of there younger selves

jersey joe walcot /charles were the exceptions

What about middleweights? Any middleweight who was still elite around 38? I’m worried GGG doesn’t have more than 2 fights left in his knees.

A mouse matures quicker and is past it earlier than an elephant........

Of course wild boar and mexican beef helps a fighter carry on past what's naturally possible so now we see fighters a lot older than the good old days.

Probably due to inbreeding and the massive strain such size puts on the animal.
