I'd never seen or heard of Navarette before, but damn I like his style of fighting. He really beat the **** out of that overrated midget, it was a proper ass whooping. Viva Mexico!
As soon as they let us know that his "warrior chant" was some new-agey acronym, I began to hope that the skinny Chilango would knock him the **** out.
He’s a good fighter and has a good attitude, but he needs a better trainer. I used to see him at the fight factory and kind of knew he was going to get exposed when he started fighting good competition. In sparring I seen he only had one way to defend against jabs and considering he’s a shorter fighter I knew this weakness would catch up with him. A good trainer could fix his mistakes and make him a champion again.
Dogboe has proved to be another hyped fraud, I don't know why people were hyping him. He's just a basic, mediocre midget.
This. Navarette really came to fight and didn’t let his hand injury stop him from becoming a champion.
Exactly! Most guys wouldn't even give an in ring interview after less of a whoopin. Not only did Dogboe give an interview, he was a good sport about it. But what do you expect? So many punks on this site, only a punk would try clowning a guy after taking a loss with dignity.
That kid should have been pulled out by the 10th! His father is a disgraceful mong, his son could have got killed in there. He's thick as **** too: http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/story/_/id/22767997/paul-dogboe-father-interim-titlist-isaac-dogboe-apologizes-insensitive-remarks-aimed-jessie-magdaleno
I kept thinking of Margarito when I was watching Navarette for some reason. I'm not sure exactly what it was about his him or his style that remind of him but there was definitely something. Maybe it was the uppercuts, the relentlessness, or something else but I remember thinking to myself maybe around the 4th of 5th round that this is a guy who will put a terrible beating on you and will take you into a dark place you really don't want to go to.
