The double standard

I made a very similar point about why Froch is loved so much more than Haye seeing as both are talkers from the UK. It's comlpete double standards, IMO, and shows up people who claim to be 'fans' for what they are. Haye has done much more than Froch in his career but I'm sure there is an underlying race-driven reason why Froch is more popular. The amount of people that have responded to this thread shows there are few on the general forum who actually want to debate things rationally.

Lewis was trashed for being boring- Wlad isn't. Think about that as well.

Signing for a fight and then turning your back on it is NEVER smart business. Not in boxing and not in real life.

Nobody would have criticized Haye if he went after Valuev from the beginning and left the Klitz alone as obviously he now thinks the time isn't right to be going after them.

EVERYBODY didn't. Ultra Klits fans did. Ultra Haye fans have bashed both brothers relentlessly for months over everything. You seem to be selective in your reading of threads.

If you talk **** about 2 guys for a year then don't fight either, instead fighting a lesser fighter, you will get critisism. Contract issues or not, it looks bad.

Again you're being very selective. Search for posters Swann or Axe Man, they've started dozens of incredibly partisan anti Klit threads over the last few months.

I seem to remember up until he pulled out of the first fight with his alleged "back injury", this forum was very pro Haye. It's died down because he pulled out of 2 fights in a row.

Froch fought and won, so he has gotten some respect. There are still threads about how he's a bum waiting to be exposed, I really don't see these Froch is God parades you're on about. Haye is being critisised because he's pulled out of 2 fights. Whether he had good reasons or not, the people on here are fight fans and he's let them down, they're not on his pay roll so don't care how good his contract is.

I can only assume you're either black and looking for any excuse to play the race card or some kind of self loathing white ***** looking to show everyone how PC you are, but it's real tedious.

There's about a dozen threads every week calling Wlad boring. Open you're eyes. And Lewis was usually boring, so is Wlad, they're correct accusations either way.

 

Haye 'didn't pull out of two fights'. He pulled out of 1- whether it was an injury or the TV money we'll never know. That's a fact- he never pulle dout of 2. The contract with Vitali was NEVER signed:good. Also, I'm not black either- I'm as white and working class as they come. The irrational hate of Haye is still something that pisses me off, though.
