Who do you got in this one?? I think it would be a fun scrap but The Vitali that made Chris cry eventually takes out Andy late. Probably by ref stoppage from accumulated punishment. But with Andy’s hand speed he would make a good account of himself. Just wouldn’t be enough against the better fighter in Vitali.

Ruiz is not a top fighter. That was just a myth created by Matchroom. He gets destroyed by Klitschkos.
Ruiz has one good win and he was losing that fight before landing the haymaker.
He'll likely retire without another good win, which will make the AJ saga even funnier because AJ ran from him in the rematch.

Calling boxing on a back foot running? I guess Fury ran from Klitschko then, lol. And Lennox ran from Tua.

Vitali right now put on a plane from Kiev could most likely knock out Ruiz if they fought today.

Arreola before the fight said something like: "I like to enjoy beer, so what? Tiger Woods drinks beer, so why can´t I?"
At that time Woods had already long been considered as one of the greatest golfers, and he was the highest paid athlete. Arreola hadn´t even fought anyone in the top 10.
Just shows how delusional or truly moronic he was.

He won every round that he wasn't dropped in, and Ortiz was something like 43 years old. On top of that, what's the best win on Ortiz' record? Bryant Jennings? That wasn't a good win, if it was a win at all.

It's often referenced as Wilders best win, so in that context I'd consider it a good win.

Yes, but Wilder beat Ortiz in 2018. Ruiz faced the 2022 version which was a shadow of its former self. Ortiz in 2018 would have beaten Ruiz, given how much trouble Ruiz had with him.

Yes but then Wilders second best victory is also Ortiz.

Some people are arguing Wilder is a HOF fighter. Ruiz also has a victory over Wilders best victory.

I'm not arguing Ruiz is HOF. I'm just saying Ortiz was a good win.

Ironically Ortiz is probably also Ruiz's second best victory.

I think Ortiz in 2018 was a 'good' win, but not more. In 2022, it wasn't much and especially considering the nature of the win. Wilder's second win over Ortiz wasn't impressive either, given that Ortiz appeared to have regressed and he has never looked the same after the first Wilder fight, but by that point he was already old.

I don't know about Hall of Fame. It seems to be an American infatuation.

I think AJ and Ortiz are good wins for Ruiz. Happy to disagree.

The star of the latest HOF class is Pacquiao.
