The amount of blood they take for the test will regenerate within a few hrs, so nobody can possibly say a blood test even 1day before a fight is a bad thing.

their so many stack out there its not even funny that's why the call them designer drugs or pro hormones .. their are a few company that make product such as tren which is made by American lab.. M1T that was sold by Lou Gaspiri, and that just a few. these drugs are real performance enhancer that are sold over the counter. The supplement get band, some smart guy with master in nutrition and chemistry, move a few molecules around change it structure and the substance is re-sold under a new name and is perfectly legal because of its makeup and is not on the ban list of substance.

the time I want to take performance enhancers is never.
however, if you ever read jose cansecos book, he explains the instantaneous effects steroids provided him, as the reason he and other ballplayers would shoot up directly before games.

Exactly! If there is going to be drug testing, than it must be random, not on the individuals terms.

So in other word you can't name one drug that he can be taking that will pass a random urine test while he's taking it.

its a drug test not a blood donation.....a blood test will only require about 2 teaspoons maybe 3 of blood...NOT WHOLE TUBES like in blood donating.

This would not effect anyone muchless a seasonal conditioned fighter.....just take the damn test and im probally sure the test wont even be given close to the fight anyway.

if usain bolt can take the test and run a fukkin 9 summin....got dammit Pac can take the fukkin test.

Manny's FIGHT NIGHT weight only went from 145 (March 2008.) to supposedly 149 (November 2009) in that same time-frame.

    Arum on Pacquiao-Mayweather
In response to the release sent out Tuesday by Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions which stated that Mayweather vs. Pacquiao was “in jeopardy,” Bob Arum, chairman of Top Rank, the promoter of seven-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, had the following to say: “Let’s be very clear on the real issues we differ on. It’s not about being tested. Manny is onboard with that since it’s such a major concern of Floyd Mayweather, Jr. It’s about who does the testing and the scheduling of the procedures. Manny will submit to as many random urine tests requested. Regarding the blood tests, he will subject himself to three tests; one given in January during the week the fight is formally announced, one thirty days from the fight, no later than February 13, and the final one immediately following the fight, in Manny’s locker room. The major issue related to the testing rests with which independent agency will administer these tests. The United States Anti Doping Agency (USADA) cannot do it because they will not amend its procedures to accommodate the blood testing schedule we have outlined. USADA, under its guidelines, would have the right to administer random blood tests as many times as they want up to weigh-in day and that is ludicrous.
“Our suggestion is to utilize any of the independent agencies that work with the National Football League, the National Basketball Association or Major League Baseball, since they administer drug testing for their professional athletes.”

New York-based athletic physician, Dr. Keith Pyne, a private injury consultant for NFL athletes and those who participate in running and combat sports, told AOL Fanhouse,
“I have more than 800 guys who are special athletes who are all drug-tested. And the urine testing is sufficient that you won’t miss anything, especially with performance-enhancing drugs. So, yes, I believe that the urine testing is more than sufficient for boxing. If you’re using steroids, it’s going to come up for sure in urine. There’s no way it’s going to get through the liver and the kidney without being detected.”

“If Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions are sincere in creating ‘a level playing field,’ as they stated in their release, our recommendations should put their minds at ease,” said Arum. “If not, one has to wonder if their motives are more about leveling the fight.”

in this one i think mayweather is full of ****
we should go the same way floyd have been tested in every single fight he's been involved and we all know he is undefeated....why different this time?
otherwise if the rules will be changed it should be applied to ANY world title fight and backed up by the north american medical association and not but what top rank or golden boy have to say

stop posturing with the word random. 2-5 days before fight night ain't random. it's specific.
pacman will stand his ground and let floyd run from the fight, based on his irational, unpresidented demands.
pac will also, very likely continue taking and passing drug tests that mandatory for fights, fighting out the remainder of his boxing career it will be a privilege to see, and retain the p4p#1 status into his retirement.
he may also join the rest of the boxing fans of the world
