I'll throw this out there in case Augustus wins his next fight.

Emmanuel Augustus vs Victor Ortiz? I mean it's not HBO quality but if GBP is seriously considering doing another PPV soon (as I've read in random places) then that could be a really nice cheap undercard fight for them, especially with Ortiz getting the opportunity to bounce back.

I would have loved to see him fight Gatti. I remember for maybe like a week back in the day there was big talk of this fight and I was pumped.

One time I went through and tried to figure out which of his loses were legit, and it was still like 12-15, and this was probably like 15 fights ago. I don't ever know if he would have been an elite fighter with a proper management team, but he certainly would have gotten a ton of title fights and made more money. To this day I hope he still finds a way to become a mandatory and someone takes the fight.

 

I wish he could win a legit title, not that it really matters because we love him no matter what.
