I know that he had AIDS but meth contributed heavily to his physical deterioration.

I watched a documentary, I think the one OP posted, where they talked about how he had been a raging falling down drug addict for most of his adult life, and he turned to meth rather than AZT when he was diagnosed.

Morrison passed away in 2013 September. Contradary claims about his mother saying he died due to full blown aids, being on the bed on a tubing machine for a year. It was obvious and looking at the various articles and video's over the last few years from 1996 to 2013 what happend to Tommy.

However, trish, widow, is actually still lawsuiting and continuing on to this day claiming the test happend to be a false positive, and that morrison did'nt pass away from having Aids but more like a complication of things all together.

I'm in touch with her at the moment of writing; and i cant help it knowing all the things ive done my homework on, i'm dealing with people who are in denial. There's a claim for example, that they did analysis on the blood of tommy before or after, and it documents that there where no traces of HIV or AIDS in this case.

I woud'nt want to believe alot really of this either knowing the past and the claims of falsifying blood tests, or avoiding states in the USA when he made a comeback to box in states that did'nt require a blood test. When nevada asks for additional tests, tommy pretty much declined doing so.

For someone believing to his death having no HIV or Aids, why the hell would you avoid a test like that?

Now closely watch the rashes on his skin.. I'm no expert but such skin rash is usually caused by HIV or in this case a late stage of HIV. HIV on avg needs a 10 to 15 years to develop. Basicly it breaks down the body in slow stage and turns into aids once the t-cells or whatever get to a too low point. When it's aids it's pretty much done as a cold or flu could litterally kill you. There's no cells to defend the body since it's bin broken down completely by HIV.

So; could anyone confirm or agrees with me that Tommy did had HIV? Could someone point me to the obvious in which makes it black on white that he is or that over the course of time in the last 15 years of his life, positive and died due to aids?

It's hard to believe it was a setup, lol. Already in 89 it was confirmed in a evaluation that Tommy suspected of having HIV. The test in '96 confirmed this and they reran multiple tests as well. Later he came back claiming he had no HIV and it was one big conspiracy. His mother declared in 3 interviews that he did had HIV and appeantly boxing more then 7 years knowing he had it but hiding it from the rest.

I like Morrison, but he was in denial.
He always claimed to have passed his HIV tests, but whenever given the opportunity to prove it by taking a test at a real lab he declined. He always had tests from some fly by night with doctor clinic on some Indian Reservation.
But one overlooked aspect of Tommy's demise: if I'm not mistaken he enjoyed the meth, no?
That stuff will age and deteriorate you like nothing else. The lines in his face and sunken cheeks were a dead giveaway to me. And if you have AIDs and still smoke meth you will literally rot away right in front of the mirror day by day.
It's sad. Tommy was a cash cow for boxing. Credit to his promoters and managers for getting the most out of a limited product, but someone should have looked out for this guy

Back in the 80's, Aids or HIV was pretty stigmatic. It was said that only gay people could catch that. It's either needles or the unprotected and wild sex life Tommy used to had. Frankly i did'nt got an answer to 3 different doctors. And yes, @El Gallo Negro , absolutely right. When he did got offered a real test in a lab he refused, gave very weak excuses for it not to test. Well if your name, reputation, everything is on the line and your so convinced you where not HIV positive? Why decline doing a test then?

And exactly; handpicking these rogue docters, the whole story on it's own is worth a netflix. When he did made or attempted a comeback it was everything except for boxing rules that required HIV tests. His claims taking on the heavy weights even in his 40's was nonsense. He was greatly out of shape, and never was that boxing boy anymore he once was.

Frankly, it is none of our business and who is anyone to judge? Morrison was a phenomenal fighter and I greatly respect what he did in the ring. I hope he died a proud man. As to his drug use, that is a different issue. He could have and should have taken the necessary steps. Addiction is a terrible thing.

They did some special tricks in relation to getting his (previous) wife pregnant. And they where born without the HIV. Tommy would be still alive if he'd just listened to people around him. It's pretty much in line 15 years of living after being diagnosed with HIV and getting no threatment.

Ive seen crackheads do way more drugs then tommy ever did and they still out on the streets (Bling bling 2000).
