Who else at MW/LMW, during that time, does that Duran beat & who does he still lose to?

I think he and Kalambay produce the most skilled fight in history in a classical come forward v mover affair.

I may be in the minority but I think Duran beats Mike McCallum. Julian Jackson, Mugabi, Terry Norris? Eh..Norris could hit and move probably win on points. Maybe.

I qualify that with Duran being in the same shape he was for Barkley. Same focus.

Duran vs. Barkley, who thinks that fight was legit? Duran had no business fighting Barkley. So, obliviously Duran will be the winner. It was a setup
to make ( a big billed up) more money in his next fight. " That is how it is done." IMHO.

Are you suggesting it was a fix? If so the shot that spun Duran around fast enough for him to take flight was pretty mean to throw in a fight with a premeditated winner.

One of the greatest underrated wins in boxing history.

Duran fought like Harry Greb...Beating an enormous and very skilled bigger man . Duran knocked him down. Duran was also very old and 30 lbs. north of his best weight. The legendary referee Joe Cortez is on record saying that it was the greatest match and performance he had ever witnessed in his entire career.

Legendary fight, that sealed the deal on Duran being a top 5 ATG.

Don't get me wrong, Duran was a Great fighter at his best weight. Barkley was also very good. Duran was not in the same class as Barkley.
