A prime Holmes wins this, with ease. All Heavyweight bouts come with a KO disclaimer but pinning one's hopes on Wilder ending the fight in one punch would be quite the outside bet. The disclaimer works both ways, as well, not just in favor of the bigger puncher.

Holmes is so far beyond Wilder, in terms of ability, that landing a big right is the latter's only chance of taking it and, if Wilder's whole strategy revolves around that one piece of armory, Holmes is more than able to negate it.

Holmes was stretched by green horns.....knocked down even.

Guess what knocked him down.......right hands from never beens.

Wilder is no never been. A Champ with 10 defenses.....and so far he did not quit against a late fat sub or lives off ONE win over a washed up shot WK four years ago......the same WK who was waxed by absolute ham and eggers in his prime.

Holmes "should" win over 15 but Larry had a tendency to fight fire with fire when he got tagged.....you dont want to get tagged by Wilder.....also it is difficult to land clean on Wilder and he takes a good shot........has poor footwork but excellent footspeed plus very fast hands and can crack like no one else right now........he has a unique combination of top shelf power with speed and that makes him extremely dangerous.

Holmes will not stop Wilder....he will box for 15 because if he presses a KO he knows he might get laid out and Holmes was always a smart man.

This so called Defense genius Tyson Fury who is about 3-4 inches taller and about 40 pounds heavier than Holmes was put on his azz twice hard including a Ref rescue and looked like he was put thru a meat grinder after the fight looking at his face.......for such a bum , as you idiots claim in Wilder he lands plenty even on elusive targets.

The hate comes mainly from AJ/Fluffy nut huggers who will never give Wilder any credit.........he could stop both and the excuses would pour in that Fury was shot and the Bodybuilder was already defused by a Burrito......and on to the next Great Eastern Euro Hope Usyk who has not even beat a Heavy with a pulse....

Fury beat the count on his own merit.
It's Wilder, who needed rescuing - by the Judges scorecards.

Are you still screaming at the sky that Hillary "won" by the "Popular" vote.

A draw is a draw is a draw...forever written in History......undeniable FACT......you "score" in your basement means jack. End Of.

A Draw is indeed a Draw. That it was recorded as such is a fact - but it was a Gift Draw, for Wilder who, at times, was laughably ****.

I pick prime Holmes by stoppage inside 6 rounds.Yeah Wilder could theoritically land that big punch but then again Larry got up from the Shavers knockdown.

Holmes, Ali and Foreman were modern heavies. No nostalgia required.

Wilder would have some sort of punchers chance you'd think. How much of a punchers chance is still being written, truth be told. In 4-5 fights time we might be saying he has a very very slim punchers chance or we might be saying damn could Larry survive him?

At the moment i would say the safe money is on Holmes stopping him. I have a feeling Wilder has a small gas tank, skinny or not. Wilder could well drop Holmes, he takes his share of right hands. I would doubt Wilder would be able to finish him and he'd be gassed if he didn't. That's where Holmes would step up. Holmes would certainly be winning almost every round while on his feet.

Lets see what his upcoming big fights bring. If he bowls over the likes of Fury, Joshua and Ruiz with not many right hands it will be a different projection.
