If everyone took the EBU's stance we'd be getting somewhere. There ain't enough quality down there to justify this division, worldwide. How many men are that small? The weight differentials are silly.
Flyweight to Bamtamweight is historically one of the more difficult move up in weights. Just sayin'........;O)
List of European Super Flyweights: http://boxrec.com/ratings.php?country=EU&sex=m&division=Super+Flyweight&status=A&SUBMIT=Go Jamoye shouldn't be there since he's never fought at that weight. The best Super Flyweight in Europe by a long way is Lee Haskins. There's no way the EBU can sanction a fight in that weight class as being worthy of the title, unless fighters move up or down to make the division better.
I don't agree. There are Super Fly Weight titles at National & World level and the EBU's stance is an anomoly. Haskins was pissed about for over a year waiting for Fly Weight shot when his fight against Broadhurst could have been sanctioned for the vacant Euro Belt. I accept the fight was a stinker, but that is not the point.
