Quit being a crybaby. That's my prediction fool. I'm not talking badly about JMM or Pac. I like both of them. Boxing fans are so damn negative at times!:smoke

Arum said last night he wants Valero/JMM then the winner fight Pac/Hatton winner. I would like to see Valero/Guzman because I think the contrast in styles would be interesting. I think Guzman will be fighting at 140 from now on. These smaller divisions are so loaded with good fighters I don't even care if the HW division sucks right now with all these other great fights and fighters. Lightweight Lightning was awesome!:rasta

he has to develop some D though and tuck in that chin. he kinda reminds me of darchinyan in his pre-donaire days. he should really try to improve himself now and not rely solely on his power before he meets his own "nonito".

I'm just going to laugh off the fact you think he is limited and relish you eating your words!

Jeff, If he keeps on winning, there's no need for a hype. One more win, either against any of the Diazes or even against Katsidis and I will ride the terror train!:good

Does he need to improve? Well right now without any more improvement he has a good chance of beating anyone. Of course, he is going to keep getting better anyway though. He only worked with Alcazar for 3 or 4 weeks before this fight and don't forget, he had not fought in over a year before he destroyed Pitalua. He's already improved and he'll only get better. He could benefit from some small changes but many people don't realize he is not nearly as limited as they think. :rasta

Cool. I think the likely match up if he does not get the JMM fight will be Soto this summer.

Without headmovement, footwork and defense, i think its difficult for him to win against top fighters but he has that one punch power chance though..

Soto still fights at 130, he should go for a top LW contender.

Moving around like Pac does it not what Valero needs to do. Valero does not waste any movement. If you have backed up every fighter you've been against like Valero and they can't get any meaningful punches off what is there to do other than maybe for Valero to keep the chin down a bit? If Valero gets in a situation when he needs the things you have mentioned he'll show them. He's dangerous for anyone to fight right now. Valero's jab is very good, and Pac has trouble with this. Stylistically, JMM is a tougher match up than Pacquiao. Don't be fooled into thinking Pac is as improved as his last 2 fights lead you to believe. He was able to do whatever he wanted in those fights and it was not just because of what he did, but also what his opponents did not do. The last fight that can be used to judge Pac is Marquez II. Pac still showed some bad habits he's always had in that fight. Hatton/Pacquiao will give everyone the best idea of where Pac is right now. Another, Valero and Pacquiao both get good extension on their left hands, but Valero's off hand is just as good as his left hand and he does not lose his balance like Pac does at times. You say he needs better footwork but he is always in balance even though he throws with such a high amount of power and extension on most of his punches.:rasta

David Diaz does not do anything for him except assure Valero of another quick KO. Golden Boy already said they do not want Juan Diaz facing Valero right now for obvious reasons (as in just getting KO'd by Marquez). Katsidis is a total punching bag and really is not that good. Soto is more credible than most any LW except JMM as potential fights go for Valero. Urbano Antillon will actually be #1 WBC challenger for Valero now but I doubt his people want him to fight Valero yet. When you knock everyone out it just keeps getting harder to get good opponents. Guzman/Valero would be a good idea.
