Loma's style and work in that ring is something else. It's like he's creating a work of art. Like a Michaelangelo in the ring making an immaculate David. The speed, the footwork, the movement, the grace, the angles, the combos, etc. It's so sophisticated and incredible.
Lomachenko has been training since he was a kid, doing some pretty rare drills, training with quality amateur fighters all his life, sparring with two or three kids at the time. He knows the tricks and in the world class amateur scene, you have to fight different fighters all the time. He is special, he is not the next Floyd or Manny, he is the first Lomachenko.
I love defensive technicians so Loma is definitely a joy to watch. Great talent but generally overrated here, and that doesn't mean he's bad.
Gannicus, which fighters have you saw throughout history, match Loma's skillset? What other technicians do you put him alongside (in other words)? Do you think he will always be the greatest ever amateur, too? The guy is incredible, in a scary way. Talk about being a natural!
He's really easy to watch. His boxing skills are insane, I could watch him for ages. He's so slick and like he says he's "painting in the ring" quality post, he is the first lomachenko.
