Yeah, on the face of it. But mandatory is something which is often bought not earned. How has beating Bundu and Algieri been enough to secure that spot without a little greenback to smooth the process? It seems a very thin resume to get into that position. I suspect politics at play here. But I can't deny, he's the mandatory...

Honestly if it had gone 12 along the same line the actual fight went I would have had my pop corn ready.

This forum would have been better than the foty.

Hard to deny, those 2 wins seem pretty light. You would think it would take more than defeating Bundu & Algieri to become #1 contender. I see what you are saying.

Here's the bottom line, Spence is the mandatory because he fought the required fighters and fights to become that. Now, he wants and deserves his shot. Brook's resume doesn't give him the right to say come back when you've earned it. Now, if he's grown too big for WW then why doesn't he just say that and move on. That's what Jack did. Instead, he's claiming that he would and wants to knock Spence out. I say to that, Well, there he is, what you gonna do? Vacate or fight.

Brook was born in Britain, which is a huge advantage for a fighter these days. Add that to the natural skills and he's undefeatable at his own weight.

Amir has nothing to vacate having never won anything at 147. Actually there was that number one contender spot he chose to give up rather than force a fight with the guy who cleaned his clock down at 140.

You Khan fans really are something else. At this point him ducking Brook is so shameless that even Brook haters are calling him out on it and yet the Manfreds of the world keep on making silly excuses for why their boy don't want it.

Expect Khan to blame marital/family problems for a poor camp when he gets knocked out. This is of course depending on him getting off Skype and making the fight now there's video evidence that he has found his balls.

A whole post without writing something about 'bums'. Well done, you've taken your first step into a larger world.

Both Brook and Khan are 2 of the biggest idiots in boxing. I know Brook was paid well to fight GGG but he could have made good money staying at welterweight he could of beat Vargas than maybe Khan would fight him for 2 belts maybe he would of got the PAC fight. It seems now he is stuck.

Its not like khan turned down the brook fight last year to fight chris algeri instead now is it. Khan fans have such short memories.

lets just list what khan kept telling brook to do before he would fight him.

beat matthew hatton = mission accomplished
    khan then made another excuse
    beat Senchenko = mission accomplished
    khan then made another excuse
win a world title = mission accomplished
khan then live in sky studios after the fight said he would fight brook
    khan then makes another excuse
fight a big name = brook fights GGG - mission accomplished
    khan then makes another excuse

he has constantly moved the goal posts to avoid kell brook.
