With Hearn announcing this big deal, is this potentially the beginning of the end for Frank Warren?
    - First of all boxnation is likely to be stopping soon with the british cards being exclusive to BT and with sky getting more US shows then boxnation will have nothing.
    - With Hearn being given around 5 million per shows in amercia, he can pay his fighters very good purses and also has a lot of chances to get his uk fighters US exposure, will some of warren's fighters see this and want the US exposure and bigger purses? probably so i can see a lot of fighters jumping from warren to hearn over the next 1/2 years.
    - Also hearn is currently putting on more regular uk shows and good quality cards, with the budget he is getting with the new deal maybe some of that will be spent on some of his UK shows as well.
    - all in all it's a no brainer of where a fighter in the uk should be signed too, forget tge loyalty to frank warren as even fury has left his lifelong promoter hennesy as he saw how **** he was, the next year or 2 could be huge for hearn and wank for warren, thoughts?

No Warren is here to stay, has a solid stable and will dominate the British scene.

Joshua is one fight away from a devastating KO loss.

Hearn’s second biggest PPV star is Bellew lmao, and he’s ready to retire pretty much. Brook and Khan are also nearly finished.

In Britain at least Franky boy is set to become top dog. It’s Warren’s manor.

I don't think so considering he made a big deal with BT. He may not be able match Hearn with his stable but he can still make a good go of it on the british scene.

He just signed Willy Hutchinson a top prospect so i don't think it's all doom and gloom. I also think in the uk a lot of guys don't want to play second fiddle to the Joshua's of this world and also would like more exposure than other top prospects/fighters the matchroom stable has.

I can't really be bothered to go into much detail but the reality is, the deal Eddie has done will likely have very little impact on Frank.

Well it might have a small impact because if a US show from Hearn clashes with a Boxnation or BT overseas card, they will lose some viewers.

But yes, Franky boy’s target market is the UK fanbase and this deal won’t really impact on it.

Can’t see it tbh. There’s just as much chance of some of Matchroom’s boxers wanting to jump ship because they aren’t getting opportunities to headline their own cards etc.

BT are throwing huge money at boxing. Don’t forget that Warrington, Frampton, Selby and Fury all turned down Matchroom offers to sign with Frank.

I think a lot of people are just determined to rubbish Frank Warren. Unless I have missed them Eddie is hardly producing classic fights atm.

I think Hearns going to over stretch and leave a few openings for Warren, also, why are big names signing with Frank and not Hearns in the UK????

Frank's shown a remarkable resilience, coming back from adversity and the famous shooting too. He has a good roster at the moment and I really enjoy his BT sports shows. For UK boxing fans it's far better to have Frank there providing competition and an alternative to Matchroom. So I hope he continues to do well. I think BoxNation looks doomed but his BT deal was very significant. They're in it for the long haul and what they do they do well.

true, but hearn didn't renew warringotns contract so he had to go to warren, frampton was close to going with hearn but he wanted too much money for his 'comeback' fight, same for fury, and selby ****ed his own career by goin usa, hearn didnt want him when he came back with no uk profile

Who cares about the size of their dicks? The fact we've got two good promoters with decent stables and TV backing is a win win for boxing fans.

Key point in almost every case is that Warren outbid Hearn. Hearn desperately wanted Frampton and Fury, regardless of whatever spin he puts on the negotiations on IFL.
