Is the defeat to bellew the final hurrah for haye or will he be able to come back and win a version of the heavyweight crown. He has said to Carl froch he will 100% be back and will win a title.

In all honesty it is to early to tell. There is only an 80% chance Hayes achilles post op will be the same as pre injury. We won't know if he is going to be in that unlucky 20% anytime soon, nor will he, nor will his doctors.

I admire his determination and bravery though to come back, as it will be a long hard road.

He is 36 years old. Was 4 years in retirement before that because of injury.

He just fought a fat CW that very few people rate, and was stopped on his feet in the 11th.

The man is shot- shot physically.

Its not just an isolated injury that he comes back from, and then everything is fine. If it was you may have a point

I personally think if he can come back totally injury free he needs to go back to old school hard training no yachts no nightclubs just back to basics, needs to come in lighter also 210-215lbs speed was his main weapon. He has finally shown some heart after the toe incident.

He couldn't even last in a gimmick fight against Bellew. A "big fight" would be someone like Joshua or Klitschko who at this point destroy Haye (unless Klitschko is completely shot as well).

He physically can't handle hard training anymore. He managed to come to the fight completely injured and broken after light training on the yacht and walking on the beach in flip flops. Imagine how broken he would be if he had an actual hard training camp. He would probably have to cancel the fight after one weak of this training when his shoulder falls off, his knee pops out and he gets some back injury again.

He is done as in completely done. His fights against those two bums were complete charade, he maybe has few rounds in him and that's it. Even those two club fighters probably had a better shot at beating him than they realized, they should have just been ultra-defensive and wait until Haye's body would have inevitably broke mid-fight.

I think he could still have 1 big fight in him . I think he needs to lose the muscle mass though hes just 2 slow with it..

What came first, the chicken or the egg?

You don't think his light training may have been because he was carrying the injury? The fact there was such a very long gap between fight signed/first presser and fight night is starting to look might suspicious in hindsight.
