Plans for Bute vs Pavlik in March.

Can we say.... NO CHANCE for Pavlik?

I think improved footwork and the volume of the old Pavlik can make that fight very interesting.

Pavlik only has volume vs guys who stand right in front of him.

And that's where improved footwork comes into play. Not without a new trainer though.

I dont think at 29 Kelly is gonna improve much. He peaked in the Taylor fights.

I thought he was fighting Brian Vera. Pavlik-Bute might happen in '11.

I was hoping for this fight to be honest. Then the winner can fight the dude who wins the Super Six, hopefully Carl Froch, though destined to be Andre Ward.

Wow. Bute fights a similar style to Sergio Martinez, except he's a lot bigger and he hits a lot harder. I was thinking that HBO was hoping that Pavlik would look good beating Martinez, so they could set up a super fight with Bute. But that didn't happen.

I don't think Pavlik looks good at all against Bute. It might be the first time he is stopped.

You forget Bute was exhausted to death and that he was ill the whole week before the fight...But he did'nt pull out even if his coach wanted him to pull out of the fight and almost paid the price for it...

Pavlik will be able to hurt Bute if he keeps puting pressure on him all through th fight and lands some big right hands.Andrade was able to hurt Bute and Pavliks a better fighter than Andrade.I still see Bute winning a comfortable ud though unless Pavliks lands hard

The jury is still out on Lucien Bute:deal.
Ive noticed the hype around this fella really building up just lately and i dont see any solid evidence to suggest its to be believed.:nono
If Bute does fight and beat Pavlik it would go some way to proving he is the real deal but personally I'm not sold on him just yet,:bart his resume is patchy to say the least and when he finally steps out of his Quebec comfort zone against a world class live opponent i think we might see him exposed/KTFO:yep
