Andrade, who I like a lot, gives Kelly to many choices. KP could box, and win pretty much every round. KP could stand his ground and trade, and if somebody goes down, it would not be Kelly. Pavlik can make Andrade pay for every single one of his short comings. The reverse is not true. Librado's hands and feet simply are not fast enough.
Pavlik is not a versatile fighter. He is very good at what he does, but he doesn't have many choices. He would win every round. And then he'd get TKOed. No one 175lbs and under trades with Andrade and doesn't get KOed. Pavlik doesn't have the best chin in the world. If he trades with Andrade, he gets put on his arse within 10 seconds. I disagree. He's not versatile enough. Andrade has caused big problems to fighters faster than Pavlik. It doesn't matter that Andrade is not the fastest. What matters is that he is very tough and keeps on throwing, moving forward. To beat Andrade, to really beat him, you either have to do what Kessler did for 12 rounds... and I don't think he could have done it for a further 2, or you need to do what Bute did in the rematch. Pavlik can do neither of these two things.
