    It won't work
American fans do not care about Euro or Canadian based fighters. They are too ****ing weird. The klits are always sitting on each others laps and using Whitney Houston as walk out music.

White Americans will never cheer for a white fighter, especially if that white fighter is European. They have a hard on for black boxers.

Don't jump on conclusions, Skippy. ;)

  7. I get sick of people making boxing about the race of the fighters or their skin color. Its an old tired dinosaur of an idea and should be laid to rest ASAP.

Bute is from an eastern European country known for their dark complexions as much as their light ones. The "white" thing really just has nothing to do with the fight at all.

bloody hell, i mention that martinez is white, and then i get all this latino, argentinian, spanish ****. he's ****ing white, that's all there is to it. when he's walking down the street, no one is going to say "hmmmm, he's white, i wonder if he has abit of latino, argentinan blood in him".

the stupidity in this forum is getting unreal. the thread starter putting up an argentina map up to indicate that martinez is not white, i mean doesn't he know how stupid that makes him look?

    come on guys.

The only thing that matters is that you have to make weight the day before a fight, everything else; race, color, origins, religion, who your sister dates, what language you speak..... is not boxing......:deal

I hope this fight isn't made. I would root for Pavlik but I fear he will be decapitated. The only thing he looks ready for right now is some RR and a few gimmes. The majority of my favorite fighters are American citizens. I don't see a problem with this. I'm quick to adopt anyone who lives and fights in the US.
