Whats everyone thoughts on this? Dubois still champion and realistic i think him snd Gorman will fight gin before they fight next year Dubois could defend against Kash Ali for intsent two undefeated fighters after all.
HALF of the area titles are VACANT overall, and 5 out of 7 are VACANT at HW. Does anyone know the reason for this? Is it because the bbbofc has literally given up on the administration and organisation of these match ups? I certainly dont recall these area titles being all vacant and seemingly ghosted by the best domestic talent. http://bbbofc.com/content/area-titles Dubois is the southern area champion. Ali is the central champion at HW. Then all of the other 5 area HW titles are vacant.
That’s pretty sad. I don’t think that was always the case. Is this a matter of certain promoters preferring the Hungarian cab driver route to building a career?
The belt should remain active at Heavyweight, I mean realistically the same guys that are all around British level could contend for it as lets face it their are hardly many Heavyweights from Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales that could fight for the British. If Dubois isn't defending it, it could be on the line in Dave Allens next fight all being well against the Argentine against say a Tom Little, Sam Sexton or Kash Ali on the Sheffield Matchroom show. It would be better and more meaningful for Dave Allen than another unknown who he beats in a few rounds.
