So what is the verdict on him , he looked useless against ward , dismal against pascal , struggled and was a bit lucky against Johnson first time . But he has a good win over Adamek , and Tarver and he beat old Hopkins fairly easily , The old hopkins that had just schooled pascal , so it was still a creditable performance , wich if i remember perhaps comically got him on the p4p list . How would u see hin at a catch weight 172 against Bute or Froch
I dont know what to make of him. Some nights he looks like a highly skilled,extremely technical boxer, other nights, he just seems dis-interested. At no point in the Ward fight did he look worried that he might lose,and up the ante a little. He seemed perfectly fine with losing.
His performance against Ward was embarrassing. (Not losing to Ward but the "Way" he got picked apart) I wonder IF he can bounce back from this?
Dawson is mentally shite. I don't think he can be psyched out, but I think that once he realises he isn't physically dominant over his opponent, then he decides he can't win. He knew he was physically superior to Hopkins, look how he fought. He was shown by Ward that he was the physically inferior one, look how he fought.
