It is true that America is no longer the pinnacle of boxing. Just look at their amateur scene now compared to what it was.

Incoming wave of angry Americans in 5..4..3..2..1

Cruiserweight champion Marco Huck is from Eastern Europe (Serbia).

Got to say though, half the guys on your list aren't great.

Nice rationalization. Whatever helps you sleep at night will do I guess.

How do you know, the majority of them have yet to taste defeat, you don't know what their limit could be.

I'm really impressed with Beterbiev. I think he has just as much if not more upside than Kovalev. I expect him to destroy Tavoris Cloud.

    I've watched many of them?

Khytrov (almost dropped by a journeyman, no defence)
    Chudinov (average fighter)
    Korobov (no stamina, nothing special)
Shafikov (lost to the Mexican Vasquez)
    Provodnikov (limited fighter)

Some good European figthers coming through but not every one of them is going to be Golovkin or Lomachenko just as not every American is going to be Ward or Mayweather.

For every one of those guys, you can mention a fighter from another part of the world who could beat them.

I do too, even though I feel slightly bad rooting against a fellow Floridian in Cloud, Beterbiev is the future Cloud not so much. I don't think he stands a chance.

That fight is off as far as I'm aware. I think Beterbiev would have knocked Cloud out or forced him to quit.

Shafikov is now training at Wild Card and utterly destroyed Nugaev a few days ago, he showed a lot of improvement.
Not too thrilled with Korobov yet, Ruslan still has a few destructions left in him. Chudinov and Khytrov you are writing off way too easily.
