You do not have a clue
About 60% of all current active pro boxers are American

There is more current active pro Americans in the higher weightclasses than there is in Europe combined!!!

Look at boxrec.. and you'll see USa have about 400 heavyweights and Russia and Ukraine have about 15 each, etc.

For the amount of pro boxers America have they.. for them to only dominate 2 or 3 divisions is poor.

Why would you want America to do well when you are british? Oh yeah it's cause you are a ****stani ,It's a shame your race is hopelessly embarassingly awful at boxing, a complete disaster :rofl

Wlad - number 1 at heavy
Huck - number 1 at cruiser
Kovalev - number 1 at light heavy
Golovkin - number 1 at middleweight
    Lomachenko - best ever amateur

some might say they are dominating already

Everyone has to admit that though the very best prospects coming up are mostly Eastern European

    Lomachenko,Usyk, Beterbiev, Mekhonstev,Gvozdyk,Khytrov,etc

the boxers in the higher weight classes from the USA at present aren't very good though, the highest ranked one is Deonty Wilder, who'se fought bums for 30 odd fights. I never said I wanted USA to do well, where they come from doesn't particularly bother me (non UK) previous threads relate to the only decent fighters coming through been non USA / Eastern european and I disagree with that.

Don't know why you think I'm ****stani, just because I happen to think amir khan is half decent, don't automatically make me muslim /Asian or whatever. You seem quite racist ( I'm guessing you were in the thick class at school whilst all the Asians were in the top classes)

Not a lot of eastern european fighters on your list, arent they!
Almost all fighters of your list are from Russia or other countries of the former soviet union. They have little in common with countries like Poland,Hungary, and other "eastern european "countries.I am from Belarus. We still say that we travel to europe when speaking about a trip to Germany,Italy or the Czech Republic.European and "Russian" mentality are two different planets which share little.

People from the UK say the same. In truth, there is no "European" mentality because almost all of the countries therein are very culturally different.

Belarus is of course Eastern European, just as the UK is Western European but don't ever expect a consistent "European" feeling from nation to nation because it doesn't exist.

The current Ring Magazine Champions (as at 25/09/2014):

Cruiserweight - Yoan Pablo Hernandez - Cuba
Light Heavyweight - Adonis Stevenson - Canada
Middleweight - Miguel Cotto - Puerto Rico

So not "dominating" exactly, in terms of generally recognised rankings.

Nevertheless, there are some matches for the likes of Golovkin and Kovalev to be made, which could change all that, while there are indeed some very good Russain and Eastern European hopefuls. I don't consider Lomachenko a prospect, though. He's already a Titlist and a very special Fighter.

Artur Beterbiev is also definitely one to keep an eye on, whereas I can't help thinking that Usyk is an accident waiting to happen.

Huck, Hernandez are both neck and neck imo different rankings have each of them ahead

same with stevenson and kovalev, since adonis poor showing against Fonfara must have Kovalev ahead, and if he beats hopkins his number 1

no one with half a brain considers Cotto the number 1 at 160, GGG is the clear number 1. the fact the ring has cotto number 1 makes them look silly just like when they had broner number 6 in there p4p list

the 178 division is going to be the hottest division in boxing in 2 years, Adonis,Kovalev,Beterbeiv,Gvodsyk, mekhontsev,Smith,Hooper, and Ward and De La Cruz in the amateurs

and i dont see how you feel Usyk is an accident waiting to happen. have you even watched his wsb fights?

Of course, you're entitled to your opinion, but the point being made in the previous post was aimed at qualifying the suggestion that Huck, Kovalev and Golovkin could be considered dominant. I think it would be quite a stretch to consider any one of them as such.

That is not to imply that Hernandez, Stevenson or Cotto are dominating either but they are recognised as lineal Champions, in their respective divisions. Stevenson's lineal claim is perhaps strongest, given the man of the division he beat (Chad Dawson) has a win over Hopkins.

As alluded to, there are fights that all the Boxers mentioned would need to make and win before being recognised as a preeminent force.

If you mean the 175 division then agreed.

Then don't try to. I'm certainly not going to try to explain a hunch.

id consider GGG dominant , everytime he faces a top 10 fighter he batters the life out of them. The rest of the champions want nothing to do with them

as soon as Kovalev beats hopkins, Adonis is really going to have to do something or Kovalev will almost be the dominant champion by default

Europe dominants the cruiserweight division regardless who is arguably the number 1, some have Huck, Some have hernandez, Europe dominants the cruiserweight division

Usyk is quality, any guy who can school a guy who naturally has 20-30 pounds on him and is a massive puncher in Medzhidov is going to do something special
