Here is one for Dece for keeping this thread alive :good :

    After the fight

    In November history was made
A punch would land like a grenade
    Afterwards everyone was sad, yet
For this is as good as it will ever get
Nothing left to hope for, friend
    Now we've seen the end
Who will now jab and dance?
How can this be topped - there is no chance
    But listen up all fans
No need to sing the blues
One man can fill those shoes
In old Montreal a voice would proudly concur
    Ce'st I, Lucian!
    Je suis Le Tombeur

This one goes out to all the fans that will make the trip and will be able to say "I was there"

We'll travel to Cardiff on that cold, bitter night,
From countries afar - just for this fight,
People of ESB will spend all their hard earned cash,
For the fight of the year and night on the lash

Two gladiators will enter with no defeats to the ring,
The waiting is over... Round 1 Ding Ding,
That's as far as I go so let's forget a prediction,
I've said so many things that it'll be contradiction

    They'll pack them at ringside- 10, 20, 30 deep
And be ****ed if I'm sitting in a cheap plastic seat
There'll be celebrities, wannabe's, boxers and golden oldies
And look! Over there! Isn't that Jan Molby?

So let's watch our heros at the Millennium Stadium,
The Welsh and the Danes together look on,
Whatever the night brings, let me make on thing clear,
Afterwards let's go together and drink lots of Brains beer

I would have normally expressed my gratitude more but I'm worried about Bute - it appeard that his fight against Berrio in September has fallen through...

    Nobody here know my name
and my friends would think I'm insane
But they never told so here's my try out
    - and please do not take it to court

Cal - a slapper with no real recognition
outside his beloved Wales or was it his England
Climb into the ring with only one hope
That he himself could climb out again
Kessler knew that the ideal conclusion was a knockout
Not the kind a man is counted out on his feet
but the kind with a man collapsed, out cold
The other with his hands raised in triumph
For the first time Cal has been adequately measured
He's only one foot one - lying down...

    My first ever ..

Damn! that's the worst thing about being a boxing fan, this insane waiting game. But Bute will get his shot, don't worry. I would love to see him against Andrade.
