    Look...Lara isn't the puncher Lemieux is but he does have explosive quickness and more than enough class to blow your boy clean out of the water. It isn't unfair at all to say Delray is much gutsier than he is durable. He's the type to go out on his shield, but believe me - he will be sent out on his shield here.

    Delray deserves credit for taking these sorts of fights as an underdog against opponents like Lemieaux or Lara. It is a shame that the economics of boxing seem to only allow him to face either these kinds of opponents, or very mediocre fighters at home.

    This said, I do think he has a better shot against Lara than against Lemieaux, who is, imo, one of the best prospects in boxing today. Lara has been comparitively unimpressive. Nonetheless, it is an uphill battle, one in which I wish Team Raines good luck.

    Thanks Zak you are a classy guy amongst pessimistic haters portraying
    themselves as boxing fans.And it is sad that these are the only fights
    Raines has to learn from.But these fights are better as far as making my
    boy take it more serious!But what is really sad is these hater clowns are gonna wait around and hope for the worst and say things like I told ya
    so.What a bunch of worthless ****s that would live for that!

    David's technique is top notch. He does SOME little defensive mistakes and can throw a wild punch here and there, but that is not unusual for a 22 year-old who didn't have a big amateur career.

    Lemieux is simply too much of a dawg for Lara.
