This isn't true. You can really only speak for yourself on this matter. Others (more than 10) have expressed an entirely different viewpoint on this. Just as they did when Cross Trainer left, and I assure you that many posters here miss his input on boxing history and it is noticable that he has left the forum. Brooklyn will be similarly missed.

As for the other stuff, I don't know who Peter Gabriel is (not a rock afficianado...I hope he was at least moderately talented lol) and Amsterdam and I have entirely different views on what needs to be done in this forum. (Though like most longtime posters, we agree something needs to be done) I haven't proven myself probably because I don't feel the need to do so, which is not a shot at Amsterdam or anyone else, but merely a fact. I prefer a moderate approach 9 times out of 10.

 

The obvious first would be 'Is Joy Boy the best of this generation cemented?'.

If the answer is 'yes', move on to the next one.

The second would be 'Who wins between Joy Boy and Cotto, make an analysis of the fight, an original'.

If it's not fitting, move on to the next one.

That's not an insult, that's a compliment, but an example used to show that KG doesn't fit in this scenerio.

Amsterdam-KG & Huki?

Has a good ring to it, but it won't work. I am left in a broken band, BUT, we sold 500 million records, so I'm not entirely sad. I just wanted 500 million more, more money.

 

I'm fearful of it, his plan's for supremacy are already coming into play. It's likely that he's been a Darth Sidious all along under those impartial views of fairness and being mates and we're all made to suffer now.

He even bullied poor Decebal the other day, who'd do such a thing?

 

A dual moderator setup for the general forum.

A post minimum before being allowed to start your own threads (to cut down on people making aliases simply to troll).

I think all normal personal freedoms should be allowed just like they have always been.

Removal of known trolls (and no, not posters we don't like or who's opinions are grating, I mean guys who post things with purely negative intent consistantly over and over, or ones who make racial remarks. IE, PacDbest is not a troll.)

And some minor thread moderation (no need to see 3 RBR for one fight, or 10 threads of analysis on one fight. Not saying there should be only one, but 10 is too many).

There's more, but it's 3:45 and I am still working on my Psych paper lol.

 

I asked Decebal to explain a point of view, then he said "your pit bullying tactics won't work with me". I never insulted him nor pushed him around. If he felt that way then I can't help him. If I disagree with someone, I tell them.

If I wanted to take over lol, I would have been looking for allies lol.

I also wrap up the semester next week and have some serious writing to do, but took the night off after working too much this week and watching the Lakers almost blow it.

My intent now is to leave the forum (except the classic side) at least until things get cleaned up. Don't want to say forever because if this place gets turned around it would be great to come back.

Decebal is a stand up guy. I got **** in the lounge from some of the guys there when they said he was this or that and I stood up for him. I don't dislike him in anyway. Just didn't agree on his Gamboa stance.

As for the second part? I would expect nothing less lol. But this of course illustrates our differences perfectly. I would never want to lead in the way you do. I think the best moderators are invisible.

Jousting would be fun, but not this late. I gotta finish this paper so that I don't have anything to do during the Gamboa fight tomorrow. :deal
