"Our fans want action" - the fans probably want you to shut up, Teddy. We can't always get what we want. Second round was an improvement on the first. Gave it to Davis, 20-18. Scoring the first round was a bit of a ***** though, but Davis was pressing it and landed 1 more punch I think!
Lopez has always been clumsy and inaccurate, Davis relatively composed but also inaccurate. Been the case so far here. Thing is, Davis is completely adverse to operating on the inside at all, and the only thing Lopez knows how to do up close is languish, so it's odd that they're so willing to tie each other up time and time again.
Might just be my natural dislike of Atlas' commentary, but I can't stand him or Larry Merchant on HBO moaning when a fight is "boring".
I like teddy, would be hard to commentate on this fight. Looked to be getting somewhere at the end of that round.
Can't believe Lopez has let Davis nick all 3 rounds. Absolutely ridiculous, considering that Davis has done virtually nothing of note. If one of these ****ers stepped in with a jab they'd be dominating just off that.
If one of them just didn't clinch and instead backed off from the clinch and fired some shots they'd be dominating. Too many opportunities are being wasted by clinching and doing nothing.
