I think Antwone should take the decision by a few rounds with a bit of difficulty. I'm sure he'll make it one of his typical phone booth type of fights, where he'll benefit from having a greater work rate/engine than Garcia and manage to outwork him for the most part. Garcia's taller and rangier but I don't think he'll try to utilise those advantages, nor do I think that he's that much bigger physically for him imposing any sort of size advantage to be a problem for Smith.

It's a shame that Smith didn't get the decision that - in my opinion - he deserved against Cintron, because he has to go right back to building his way towards that sort of opportunity again. It would've been a real defining statement in that comeback from his surprising loss to Tyler. Hopefully he'll work his way back up, I've definitely got a soft spot for him.

They've been taking the **** this season, how many times has it actually been broadcast live over here?

Yeah been really **** this year. College basketball on before it :-( I'd guess its been on live about twice so far. Add to that it hasn't been the best of seasons for FNF

Bit of a blind bet on tonights boxing, +8.5 on both the Smith/Garcia fight and Magdaleno/Beltran.

    Craving action...

Always liked Antwone Smith as a fighter. Sits in the pocket, no BS.

I thought that. Maybe just a bit gunshy on my part, sick of being burnt by hometown decisions in the last few weeks, soon as I saw its in Texas and Garcia is from Texas put me right off.

Home town is definitely something to think about. I've not seen Garcia either but he will have to be very good to beat Smith if Smith is in shape. His record going off Boxrec (not a great basis) doesn't look that great either. 3.75 with Bet365 I put 10 on it just for a bit of interest.

I'm a big admirer of Smith, but dear god that barking.:err

Anyhow, good first round. Smith's getting around to the ribs with both hands pretty consistently but has been pretty lazy defensively when in the pocket, carrying his hands a bit too low and lingering right in range. Both of them exchanged some round-winning blows, with Smith's shots being solitary ones and Garcia's usually coming in combination. Tough one to call.

2-0 Smith for me. Landing the far sharper punches thus far. Garcia's smothering a lot of his work, he's having more success on the way in as opposed to when he gets in there. Antwone's countering with his right hand well now also.

Smith looking good but on the ropes and back foot to much for my liking as the away fighter. Smith should move a bit more Garcia looks like he is happy enough just to follow him here.
